Two years ago, Januarius Chiew was diagnosed with Leukemia. The treatment process was fraught with so much pain that patients usually screamed throughout the chemotherapy session.
“I used this ‘screaming’ to pray the Hail Mary, and eventually I found out that the pain is not really that pain.”
Then he received the good news he did not need further chemotherapy sessions and could have food he enjoys.
Having witnessed God make the ‘impossible’ possible during his battle with Leukemia, Januarius is looking forward to being a friar so that he can bear witness to who God is and bring people to Him.
